Post Doc Opportunity

As a Special Interest Group of the ASBMB, the Melbourne Protein Group recently had the opportunity to select (from submitted abstracts) an early career postdoc for a guaranteed speaking slot at Combio2013, plus $750 towards funding the costs of attending the conference. This year's winner of the "Melbourne Protein Group Early Career Award" was Dr. James Murphy from the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. He will be presenting his exciting work on how "The pseudokinase MLKL mediates necroptosis via a novel molecular switch mechanism" at Combio in Perth in September. We thank the Combio organising committee for making this opportunity available.
